Residency Training
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine offers fully accredited programs in anatomic and clinical pathology.
As a resident in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, you become a member of a program which has a long and rich tradition in teaching, research and service.
The goal of the residency program is to educate residents to become competent in the field of anatomic and clinical pathology and to function either in an academic or a community setting.
We promote excellence through teaching and practice in accordance with the ACGME-approved guidelines leading to board eligibility. We teach relevant, meaningful and well-defined up-to-date clinical science as it applies to current trends in patient care.
