Associate Professor
MD - University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh, PA Dr. Robinson-Smith joined the Pathology faculty in October, 1999. She is a Cytopathologist and Surgical Pathologist with an emphasis on Breast and Gynecologic Diseases. She has ongoing, funded, research in the areas of gynecologic and breast oncology. She is the Director of the Pathology Residency and Fellowship Training Programs. She is an active faculty member in the department and the College of Medicine where she participates in multiple medical school ventures. She is also a former Associate Dean at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Robinson-Smith teaches medical students through their four-year curriculum in Cultural Competency in Medicine, Breast & Gynecologic Pathology, and Women's Health. She is a strong advocate for residents, fellows and medical students. Her strong interests in women's health and issues of cultural competency have extended beyond the academic arena and into the regional and national community, where she is an active speaker on these topics.
