NEPHROPATHOLOGY:
The Renal Pathology Division is directed by Dr. Tito Cavallo, a renal pathologist. He, Dr. Roger Smith and Dr. Allison Koehler provide excellent service to the nephrologists and to the transplant teams. Dr. Cavallo is an internationally known nephropathologist with many scholarly publications in the field. Drs. Cavallo, Smith, and Koehler coordinate a quarterly city-wide renal pathology conference for pathologists and clinicians. Additionally, a nephropathology conference is held monthly with the nephrology group at University Hospital. Dr. Cavallo primarily staffs the service with back up by Drs.
